The Form
Care and hosting, so the site keeps earning
Hosting, security updates, small edits and a monthly health check for one price, from £95 a month, before VAT. We call it The Form, and the name has a reason.

Why it's called The Form
Where a hare lies up
A rabbit digs a burrow. A hare keeps a shallow hollow in the grass, shaped to its body, called a form, and it comes back to the same one again and again.
That is the idea here. Your site needs a settled place to live, kept tidy and watched over, with someone who looks in. The hare in Turner's painting is all speed. The form is where it rests between runs.
Who it's for
Owners with a business to run and a site that matters
The Form is the natural next step after a Towpath or Reach build, and the way a site stays quick, secure and accurate long after launch day. It suits anyone whose information changes during the year, which means restaurants, pubs and venues first of all. Clinics with new practitioners, tradespeople with new service areas and shops with a new range benefit in the same way.
The people who run these businesses should not be spending a Sunday evening working out why the contact form has stopped working. Send an email and someone who knows the site deals with it.
We can sometimes look after a site someone else built. We look at it first, and we say plainly if it sits on something we cannot keep secure or update safely. The web design page covers what we build ourselves.
What's included
Hosting, care and small changes in one price
Four things, written down so you know what you are paying for.
Hosting
Fast hosting that serves UK visitors quickly, over a secure connection. Speed is part of how Google judges a page, and a slow server slows every page on the site.
Security updates
The software behind the site is updated when it needs to be, long before something breaks or a browser starts showing a warning.
Small changes
Swapping a menu, changing the opening hours, adding a team member, replacing a photograph, updating a price, adding a short news item. Send an email and it is done. When a request turns out to be a new section or a new feature, we tell you before we start and quote it.
A person to ask
Questions go to the people who built the site. Dev Malhotra owns the build, so the person who knows why something was done that way is the person you hear from.
A monthly health check
Once a month we look the site over from the visitor's side and send a short note in plain English. The check covers the following.
- Speed on a mid-range phone
- Broken links and error pages
- A test message through the contact form
- Details matching your Google Business Profile
- Warnings in Search Console
- Security updates applied
Why it matters
Sites rarely break loudly
They go stale, slow and quietly wrong. A monthly look is how that gets caught.
The Christmas menu in June. Content goes out of date quietly. Hours change, a chef leaves, prices move. A visitor who finds one set of hours on the website and another on Google trusts neither.
The form that stops delivering. An enquiry form can fail without anyone noticing, and it is the quietest way to lose business. A test message every month catches it.
Speed that slips. Photographs are added at full size, a new script arrives, and a quick site becomes a slow one a little at a time. Watching the numbers each month is cheaper than a rescue job later.
Software that falls behind. Updates that wait a year are harder and riskier than updates that happen on time.
Where it matters most

Questions
What people ask about looking after a site
What counts as a small change?
Swapping a menu, changing opening hours, adding a team member, updating a price, replacing a photograph or adding a short news item. If a change turns into a new section or a new feature, we say so before starting and quote it.
What happens in the monthly health check?
We test the site's speed on a phone, look for broken links and errors, send a test message through the contact form, check that the details match your Google Business Profile, look for warnings in Search Console and apply any security updates that are due. You get a short note in plain English afterwards.
Can you look after a site someone else built?
Sometimes. We look at it first. If it is built on something we can keep secure and update safely we can take it on, and if it is not we will tell you what we would recommend instead.
Does hosting affect my Google rankings?
Speed is one of the things Google considers, and a slow server slows every page. Good hosting cannot rescue a poor site, and poor hosting can hold a good one back.
What does The Form cost?
The Form is from £95 a month, before VAT. The quote sets out exactly what is covered for your site, and anything bigger than a small change is quoted separately before work starts.
