Website terms of use

Last updated 10 October 2026

These terms cover your use of the Hare & Arch website at hareandarch.co.uk. By using the site you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. They do not cover project work. If we build a website or run SEO for you, that is covered by the written quote and any terms we send with it.

Information on this site

The content on this site is provided for general information. We take care to keep it accurate and up to date, but we don't promise that it is complete or current, and it is not professional, legal, financial or tax advice.

Prices shown are guide ranges before VAT. Every project is quoted in writing after we have spoken to you, and the written quote is what applies. Articles in Soundings describe what we have seen and what we think. Search engines change how they rank pages without notice, so nothing on the site is a promise of any particular ranking or result. The case studies are anonymised composites rather than reports on named clients.

Ownership and use of the content

The text, design, illustrations, logo and articles on this site belong to Hare & Arch or its licensors and are protected by copyright. You may read the site, and print or save pages for your own use or for your business's internal use. You may quote short extracts with a clear link back to the source. Please don't copy, republish or sell the content, or use our name and logo to suggest an association with us, without asking first.

Using the site properly

Please don't misuse the site. That includes trying to gain unauthorised access to it or its systems, sending malicious code, overloading it with automated requests, or using the contact form to send anything unlawful or anything you are not entitled to share. Please don't put passwords, card numbers or other sensitive details in a message. How we handle what you do send is explained in the privacy notice.

Links

The site may link to other websites. We don't control them, and we aren't responsible for their content or how they handle your information. A link is not an endorsement. You are welcome to link to our pages, as long as you don't suggest we are connected to you or endorse you.

Availability and changes

We try to keep the site available, but we can't promise it will always be running or free of errors. We may change or remove content, or change these terms, at any time. The version on this page is always the current one.

Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

Subject to that, and as far as the law allows, the site and its content are provided as they are. We are not liable for losses that arise from using the site or relying on its content, including loss of profit, loss of business or indirect losses. If you are a consumer, these terms do not affect your statutory rights.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear any dispute about them. If you are a consumer, this does not take away any right you have to bring a claim in the courts of the part of the UK where you live.
